Last summer we had a mother cat have kittens under our trailer. Well its winter now and the kittens have all been grown and off on their own. We adopted one. My question is do cats tend to go back to the previous delivery spot to have their kittens when pregnant again? It has snowed alot and appears to be the same cat from previous litter. Trying very hard to get under the trailer again. I am trying to figure out if she would be going for a litter that is already underthere. do you think we should push the snow away and check or what we should do?

hmmmmm I don't think it's a habit, but it's certainly possible. Can you catch her? I'd want to see if she was heavy with milk from nursing or big and round and looking for a place to have her babies. If you have some other place that has shelter, you could put her some food and a bed there and try to encourage her to go in that direction if she hasn't had babies yet. Of course if I couldn't tell if she were nursing or pregnant, I reckon I'd have to move that snow and check for babies!

If you do catch her, it would probably be worth the money to take her in and get her fixed so that this can't possibly happen again. Besides the poor mama cat and poor kittens being born out in the cold, she can do quite a bit of damage nesting up under your home! If you can't afford that, you could look and see if there was a TNR (Trap, Neuter, Release) program in your area and see if someone could help out.
