» ThatCrazyCatLady - question about dog

In response to question about dog posted by lindyflood:

I had a mastiff who had this problem, and my sister-in-law's German shepherd does, too. What our vet had us do was use one of those bottles of ear cleaner that you can pick up just about anywhere... spray it in there, massage the outside of the ear to smush it around in there, then wipe it out with a soft cloth. Then... any guys around, close your eyes for a minute here... put a little monostat or other yeast infection cream in there. It heals it right up after a couple of treatments!
