I either end up crying with the parent because they're crying because they love their baby so much, or I cry after they leave. I breed because I love the feeling of giving families this wonderful gift, and that makes me able to part with them.

Just remember that you have worked very hard to raise wonderful kittens and choose wonderful families for them - you're creating a lot of happiness as you let these babies go to their forever homes.

They'll be just fine happy (((HUGS)))

Thanks, I appreciate the kind words and support. Just what I needed.

The trip to the vet today was a success. Everyone is healthy and got their shots, tested for feline Leukemia and HIV, flea treatment and wormer. The male cat (Eli) does not look any bigger then the others but he is 2 lbs! I was very surprised! Izzie is catching up to everyone at 0.90 lb, she really gained alot! The others were around 1.20-25 lb.

Eli (formerly fluffa nutter) went to Nana's for the night to see how he does. We gave Nana the scratching post since it was clearly Eli's favorite thing and it has the scent that will make him feel at ease.

Bear (now Shadow) is going home Friday at 2 pm and so is Ophelia (now Kyo). That leaves me with Izzie and Aloha. Which is fine because that is all the kittens I can part with for now...lol.

You find a home for Mako (love the name)? He is a doll. I would take him in a NY minute if I didn't already have three cats as of now..lol

So glad the vet visit went well - I'm sure everyone got plenty of extra cuddles from the vet staff!

How did everything go with Eli at Nana's?

No, haven't placed Mako yet, but that will be no problem - he's adorable and has a personality beyond compare.

Everything else here is going well with the kittens - they're EVERYwhere, and Dutches is just about ready to start weaning - poor thing loves them but sure looks tired. She attacked me twice yesterday - once for picking Mowgli up, and once for picking up one of the stuffed animals that she has adopted as part of her litter LOL She's a goof!

Well I am down to tow kittens as of today! It was hard but I nkow that they will be loved and taken care of. I cannot bear to part withanother right now so I am gald that I dont have a home for Aloha. The two I had picked for her fell through so I will wait for a suitable family and that is just fine with me!

Eli is doing well and my grandmother is enjoying him but the other cat she has is not so happy. She did swat at him a couiple of times today but she is declawed so it did nto hurt him. He on the other hand really stood up for himself. I have to say though, the first couple days she sulked and hid so I would rather see her come out and hiss and complain then hide and not eat liek she was donig. Tme will tell whether it will work.

Cute story. My nana said Eli kept climing on her lap and rubbing his face on hers. She asked me what he was doing. I told her we kiss our kitties alot so maybe he wanted a kiss. So now he comes up..gets his kiss then gets down and plays. When he is sleepy, he climbs back up and sleeps on her lap.

Hope it works out with nana's other cat (snicklefritz). She is a littel psycho and not nice but she was there first so I can see her frustration with the new intruder...lol Hope she gets over it.

OH I'm sure she will get over it! Kitties almost NEVER like a new cat at first! That is SO neat that he is loving your Nana so much - proves you raised a very well socialized and loved kitten! Good job, girl!

My sis-in-law has a cat namd Snickelfritz, too! And she is also a bit grumpy and doesn't accept other cats very well... but she adjusted and just keeps to herself. Maybe they'd be nicer if we changed their names to Honey Bear or Boo Boo Kitty? LOL

HI Darlene! How are your beautiful kitties? I have been busy. Was actually in Bristol TN on business yesterday!

Kittens are doing well. I took back my nana's kitten as he was just too much for her...his kitten behavior was agressive and exacerbated by the older cat. He is now back with us and much calmer. I still have Izzie and Aloha too but I have a home for Aloha. I do not have a replacement home for Eli (fluffanutter) but will keep him until I do. He is an energetic little mischief maker...I love it! Izzie is stioll the calm and collected little angle and Aloha is somewhere in between.

They are getting so big!!! I will try and send pics next week when everything calms down a bit with school starting and work being insanely busy! Hope all is going well!

Well if you ever get anywhere near Nashville on a trip, feel free to stop by!

Sorry I haven't been around for a couple of days... one of my kittens passed away - severe urinary tract infection, poor little fella. The antibiotics just didn't work fast enough.

Everyone else is doing VERY well, though, and my Bella gets more sweet and beautiful every day! happy

Poor little Eli - he'll grow out of the mischief and be a very sweet kitty. All my boys have been much sweeter than my girls when they mature. And of course in your nana's place, everything was new and needed wild, crazy exploring, don'tcha know! happy

Hope y'all have a great weekend!

» ThatCrazyCatLady - All my kittens have left the nest...

It's been crazy around here the past couple of weeks, getting all the kittens ready to go to their homes and meeting all their wonderful parents who have waited so patiently for them! After the other kittens were gone, my Poppy (the 7 month old) decided she just hates little kittens LOL So we had to be patient with her and help her adjust... now she's running and playing with Bella and has accepted her as part of the family. Bella is having a little trouble trusting her completely since she did try to eat her head a couple of times happy

Things have settled down, and we're all just one big, happy family now! We should have lots of time to play here and share all sorts of new stuff with you! See you soon!
