If you are researching different breeds of cat in order to find the perfect cat for your family, I hope you enjoy the series of articles I’m working on about all the different breeds. I have begun with the top 10 most popular breeds of cats but plan to cover all 35 recognized CFA (Cat Fancier’s Association) breeds and a few that are on the miscellaneous breeds list, as well as some cats that are being bred but haven’t yet been recognized by the CFA or other cat registries.
When I was researching breeds for myself, I was always frustrated because I had to go to so many different websites and books to find complete information on each breed. With my breed articles, I hope to compile a more complete profile of each breed, including health information and temperaments along with the history, breed description and standard.
